Help Us Preserve Cedar Hill's Significant Memorial Artworks
In 2008, Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation commissioned ConservArt LLC to complete Phase I of the Samuel and Elizabeth Colt Memorial restoration. Phase I was a critical step in ensuring the structural soundness of this historically significant memorial.
With Phase I completed in Fall 2008, Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation is committed to raising the necessary funds to commence and complete the Colt monument restoration, which will include polishing and repairing cracks in the pink granite column and restoring the bronze ornamentation and angel atop the monument, thus, removing harmful atmospheric deposits that attack the bronze.
Your support is needed to preserve this historically significant memorial. To support this project through a financial contribution, click here or call Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation at 860-956-3311.
