There are several ways in which you can support Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation achieve its mission.

Make a Contribution
You can send a contribution to Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation at any time. If you choose to make your gift in memory of someone, you and your loved one will be recognized in our Book of Remembrance, which sits on display in the Northam Memorial Chapel entrance. You and your loved one will also be recognized in the corresponding year's annual report. Click here for the donation form.

Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation also has specific funds to which you can make a restricted gift. To make a restricted gift, simply designate the fund for which you would like your gift to be restricted on the memo line of your check.

Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation's temporarily restricted funds include:

• Restoration of the Colt Monument - There are several historic bronze monuments needing restoration and the Samual and Elizabeth Colt family memorial is the next on our list to be restored. On December 1, 2007, Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation hosted Colt's Home for the Holidays: A Cedar Hill Affair at Armsmear presented by UHY LLP to luanch the Colt Memorial Restoration Campaign. Held at Samuel and Elizabeth Colt's historic home, the event raised nearly $15,000 for the restoration of the Colt monument. The total fundraising goal is $90,000. • Caring for and Planting of Trees - There are many reasons why Cedar Hill must remove a tree from the historic section of the Cemetery - age, disease, threat of falling, etc. In order to continue to care for and replace these beautiful trees when necessary, Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation has a Tree Fund. Gifts restricted to this fund ensure Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation can continue to protect and preserve the natural resources and beauty of the trees and plants on the historic grounds.

Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation's permanently restricted funds include:
The Foundation also has permanently restricted funds. Contributions made to these funds support permanent endowments that have been created by Foundation supporters. The principal of these funds will never be touched while the interest will be used for the purposes determined upon their establishment. The endowment funds are as follows:

• General Endowment Fund - Interest from this fund is unrestricted and can support all aspects of Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation as they relate to achieving it mission.

• Professional Resource Fund - Interest from this fund is restricted to supporting the salaries and development of Cedar Hill Cemetery and Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation staff who play an active role in the care and preservation of Cedar Hill Cemetery.

• Mather Reserve Fund - Interest from this fund is restricted to supporting Cedar Hill Cemetery's infrastructure, upkeep, replacement and repairs, and for unexpected operational expenses.
