An Evening of Jazz at Cedar Hill

We simply could not have asked for a better evening for An Evening of Jazz at Cedar Hill. One hundred people from the Greater Hartford community came out to listen to the live jazz concert featuring The Steve Lord Quintet and The Tony Allen Quintet. Surrounded by friends, guests brought their chairs, blankets, picnic baskets, coolers and tables including centerpieces!

When it was first established in the mid-1800s, families would come to Cedar Hill to picnic on the grounds. This 21st century event brought families together at Cedar Hill to experience this lost tradition. The event received overwhelmingly positive reviews, and we hope to offer An Evening of Jazz at Cedar Hill again in 2009.

We would also like to thank Whole Foods Market in West Hartford for donating a $100 gift card which was given away as a door prize during the event.
